Our Lady of the Shoals is a Catholic Church located in Tuscumbia, Alabama. Our hope is to offer visitors the opportunity to step forward in their journey with Jesus Christ, with His mother Mary as the model for that journey. To quote Pope Saint John Paul II:
"From Mary we learn to surrender to God’s Will in all things. From Mary we learn to trust even when all hope seems gone. From Mary we learn to love Christ her Son and the Son of God!"
The heart of Our Lady of the Shoals is the faith, work and generosity of good people bringing God’s presence into the world, inspiring a conversation among the generations. It is here that the faithful gather to worship God, give honor to Mary, and are sent to spread God’s word wherever they go.
